Free Black History Dance Day – February 13, 2021
In honor of Black History Month, Edison Arts Foundation presents a Free Dance Day with the one-and-only Lauren Anderson. Houston’s very own Lauren Anderson was one of the first African-American ballerinas to assume a principal role for a major dance company (Houston Ballet), an important milestone in American ballet.
2021 Free Ballet Master Class Series
The Edison Arts Foundation is proud to present Ballet Master Classes with Houston’s very own Lauren Anderson, a positive role-model and living legend. Ms. Anderson is one of the first African-American principal ballerinas for a major U.S. ballet company (Houston Ballet) and she has blazed a path for dancers of color. Don’t miss this artistic, educational and cultural experience with the one and only Lauren Anderson.

The Edison Arts Foundation will hold its second annual fundraising gala, “Tutus and Tuxes” on Saturday, May 5, 2018 at 6pm at the Missouri City Community Center located at 1522 Missouri City Drive, Missouri City, Texas 77489.
ANDance Jr. Company Auditions

2017 Tutus and Tuxes Gala
The Edison Arts Foundation will hold its first annual fundraising gala, “Tutus and Tuxes” on Saturday, April 29, 2017 at 6pm at The Buffalo Soldier Museum, 3816 Caroline St, Houston, TX 77004. The program will honor Houston’s own legendary dancer and choreographer, Debbie Allen and The ANDance Junior Company.
Introducing the Edison Arts Foundation
The Foundation actively seeks funding for the Center’s productions and presentations as well as its physical plant and capital upkeep requirements. The Foundation will also seek funding for programs and projects to cultural and educational purpose.
