About The Program
LABMCS is an exceptional annual program for Intermediate/Advanced level dancers ages 12-18 years old. This program is a 9-month artistic and educational series taught by ballet legend Lauren Anderson, the FIRST African-American prima ballerina of a major ballet company, Houston Ballet.
Each fall we award committed dancers a FULL scholarship to participate in this high value program. Classes occur once a month, Saturdays 10:00a.m. – 11:30a.m. Can’t commit to the complete series? Drop-ins are available to the public for intermediate/advanced dancers ages 12yrs – Adult. Sign Up on Eventbrite to secure your 1st position at the barre.
Class Details
Location: classes are hosted by Fort Bend Academy of Arts and Dance, 1959 Texas Pkwy, Missouri City, TX 77489
Class time: 10a.m.-11:30a.m. Doors open at 9:30a.m. Please arrive at least 10 minutes ahead of class start time.
Preparation: Please come already dressed and bring your own personal water bottle. Water fountain is available for public use.
