In honor of Black History Month, Edison Arts Foundation presents a Free Dance Day with the one-and-only Lauren Anderson. Houston’s very own Lauren Anderson was one of the first African-American ballerinas to assume a principal role for a major dance company (Houston Ballet), an important milestone in American ballet.

This free intermediate-advanced ballet class is offered to the community for ages 12 years to adult.

Due to an overwhelming response, the in-studio class is SOLD OUT!

Black History Dance Day class with Lauren Anderson will begin promptly at 10:00 am Saturday, February 13, 2021 live on Instagram: @edisonarts and Facebook: @eafarts

In-studio class location: Fort Bend Academy of Arts and Dance, 1959 Texas Pkwy, Missouri City, TX 77489.
