Free Black History Dance Day – February 13, 2021

In honor of Black History Month, Edison Arts Foundation presents a Free Dance Day with the one-and-only Lauren Anderson. Houston’s very own Lauren Anderson was one of the first African-American ballerinas to assume a principal role for a major dance company (Houston Ballet), an important milestone in American ballet.

2021 Free Ballet Master Class Series

The Edison Arts Foundation is proud to present Ballet Master Classes with Houston’s very own Lauren Anderson, a positive role-model and living legend. Ms. Anderson is one of the first African-American principal ballerinas for a major U.S. ballet company (Houston Ballet) and she has blazed a path for dancers of color. Don’t miss this artistic, educational and cultural experience with the one and only Lauren Anderson.
