In honor of Black History Month, Edison Arts Foundation has curated an outstanding evening showcase featuring a variety of Houston dance companies, studios, schools, and local artists for the purpose of uniting, celebrating each other, and using the art of dance as icebreakers for deeper conversations. The event provides a platform for artists to perpetuate culturally relevant work that centers around the theme of Black History and Black Present by showcasing creative content from black choreographers and allies, sharing personal stories, and paying tribute to African American trailblazers. The event is free to the public and will livestream on Facebook and Youtube Friday, February 25, 2022 at 7:00pm CST.

Join us in-person the following day (Saturday, Feb. 26th) at the Missouri City Community Center for an incredible art exhibit, live music, dance and poetry. See Flyer for details and register for Saturday’s Free event by clicking here!

Happy Black History Month!
