ENTRY: Free

Art has a unique way of telling stories from perspectives we might not otherwise consider. In honor of Black History Month, Edison Arts Foundation has invited Houston’s best dance companies, studios, schools, and local artists. We invite the community together for the purpose of uniting, celebrating each other, and using the art of dance as icebreakers for deeper conversations. This event provides a platform for artists to perpetuate culturally relevant works that center around the theme of Black History and Black Present. It showcases creative content from black choreographers and allies, relays the black experience, and pays tribute to African American culture-shapers. This mixed bag showcase is a great way to discover the many excellent dance organizations in Houston.
